old beliefs

Did you know that physics was called natural philosophy until the beginning of the nineteenth century? Did you know that during the time of Aristotle people believed that impulse was conducted by air and rock, water, air and life had their own 'natural places' and the reason that one object was faster than the other was because it was eagerer to reach its 'natural place'. And ether was the 5th element. Don't you think its a bit superstitious?
